A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

In a world where people have been forced to isolate themselves from each other physically, two people remain determined to stay close - by sending letters to each other in the form of papercraft. Guide these vessels of mutual longing through a variety of terrain in this short sidescrolling runner, and help the pair stay in touch - no matter what.

How to Play

  • Move the papercraft up and down using the W and S keys on your keyboard - or by pressing the upper and lower halves of the screen respectively on your touchscreen - and guide it around the obstacles in its way. If it runs into an obstacle, the game will end; for the time being, to play again, you'll have to manually restart (close and relaunch) the game.
  • At the end of each level you'll get to read a fragment of a letter; when you're done reading, press Space on your keyboard to continue on to the next level. Put all the fragments together to read a complete message. Note that there is not currently a way to revisit letter fragments you've already read, so if you're having trouble remembering them, we suggest writing them down somewhere.
  • The vertical bars are meant to give you a rough idea of how far you've gotten in the level. Each level lasts about ~4-5 bars.

Developed for olc::BeatTheBoredom - "Outdoors"
Note: this game is a prototype, and as such contains some unfinished ideas. We hope to further flesh out the game in the future, as time allows.
